Marching Band

The WCHS Marching Band is an after school program filled by students in the wind symphony, concert band, percussion ensemble, and color guard. They get to perform in parades across the area, football games, and Saturday competitions. The marching band has been a state finalist ever since the creation of ISSMA Scholastic State Finals, reaching as high as 3rd place.


Pep Band

The WCHS Pep Band performs for both men's and women's basketball games at the High School. The Pep Band plays popular repertoire that is not normally experienced in the classroom. Students are placed into one of two pep bands that split 8 basketball performances up. Additionally, the band will begin performing in new venues, starting in the 2018-2019 school year.


Winter Guard

After completing the marching band season, Color Guard students begin the Winter Guard season. The Winter Guard performs their indoor show throughout the state of Indiana at IHSCGA competitions. In the 2019-2020 school year, the Winter Guard will see new performance sites, such as halftime of a WCHS basketball game. The guard accepts all students, regardless of musical background. Warsaw is hosting an IHSCGA competition on February 15, 2020.


Winter Percussion Ensemble

The WCHS Winter Percussion Ensemble, nicknamed "Lake Effect", performs their indoor show in at IPA competitions throughout the state. Lake Effect's shows are filled with exciting musical movements tied together in one production, featuring a wide variety of percussive instruments. Lake Effect just finished their 2018 season with a 4th place finish in the state.
